Acquisition and processing of aerial imagery by UAVs

Nova Sylva now offers a drone imaging service. Our expertise in forestry allows us to offer a service adapted to the specific needs of forestry. Our services include :

1. Preparation of high-resolution orthomosaics to delineate sensitive environments, evaluate the characteristics of a stand or calculate the area of an harvesting site or windfall.
2. High-resolution photos or aerial videos of a plant or facility for promotional purposes 
3. Use of UAVs to follow havesting teams in the forest and to monitor harvesting sites.
4. Photogrammetric 3D images to evaluate heights of piles and estimate volumes (buildings, wood piles, piles of chips and biomass).
5. Monitoring the evolution of plantations and regrowth after harvest.
6. Video capture for promotional purposes, reconnaissance or to identify habitats.

Our knowledge of regulations and geomatics allows us to offer you a complete service of site follow-up. We are trained according to the new rules for the use of Transport Canada drones.
